This is an exciting opportunity for a PQ ACCA / CIMA or equivalent Management Accountant to join an Global IT business on an initial 12 month contract. The office is based in Sheffield however this is a hybrid remote working role.
This opportunity offers exposure to business planning, controlling and monitoring performance by managing financial operations, planning, utilising working capital and contributing to capital investment decisions as well as controlling cash flows. The Management accountant also manages an maintains budget development, budgetary control, financial forecasting and financial modelling.
Key duties include:
Produce accurate monthly management accounts including commentary
Manage and maintain final accounts to the ledger and financial reporting within agreed timescales
Support the production of the monthly management accounts pack
Liaise with budget holders to understand key variances against budget and forecasts, dealing with any related queries
Assist the financial controller with the production of budgets and revised forecasts
Variance analysis
Adhoc duties as required
This would ideally suit an individual with a similar role, seeking to develop their skills and experience in a large dynamic organisation, offering a wide range of exposure and strong mentorship. You will need to demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach as well as strong communication skills.
