There is an immediate opportunity for a Part qualified; CIMA / ACCA / AAT / or QBE Assistant Management Accountant to join a business in Doncaster that is growing rapidly. The business is closely aligned with the public sector and supporting the fight against Covid is high on the agenda for this progressive organisation. This role will join an existing team and support the Head of finance across a range of BAU activities with the opportunity to be involved in various upcoming projects which could involve a system implementation. This is a full-time role initially for 3 months but with a strong potential to go permanent, this role also offers agile and flexible working.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
*Assist in the production of monthly profit and loss reports and financial interpretation of monthly variances of forecasts, for multi-contract / divisional accounts.
*Tracking, monitoring and authorising financial transactions and vaccination payments and working closely with the Finance Officer.
*Posting payroll information to the accounts system, making claims for payroll costs to commissioner, and monitoring funding for staff closely with our HR department.
*Prepare accounting information of accruals, prepayments, contract postings and deferred income on a monthly basis and subsequent balance sheet reconciliations.
*Assist in improving current systems and procedures to streamline processes.
*Compiling financial statements for each of our hosted areas of business and Networks.
*Assist with ad hoc reporting when required.
*Liaising with external and internal stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for a n individual who can demonstrate they are eager to learn and adapt to a fast-changing environment. Along with a flexible approach. Strong excel skills would also be advantageous.
