Leading technology software business based in York currently require a Group Commercial Finance Manager to join their expanding account's function. Working in a newly created role you will sit across the group having input and driving commercial decisions that will shape the organisations growth over the next two to three years.
Reporting at the Director level your key responsibilities will include:
* Overview and control of the commercial accounting function which includes margin accounting, cost of sales and regional analysis reporting.
* Building relationships across the group within finance and none finance divisions.
* Managing and mentoring a small team assigning duties in line with your assessment of their skill set.
* Driving accuracy ensuring strong control framework around completeness of revenues and accuracy of cost of sales.
* Preparing commercial analysis on financial results against budget to the board at month end.
* Work closely with FP&A on budgets and reforecasts ensuring the company remains within their ambitious growth plans.
* Other project-based tasks as required.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience/qualifications:
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified.
* Strong knowledge/exposure to commercial accounting/senior finance business partnering.
* Keen to manage and develop teams.
* Previous exposure to Power BI would be advantageous although not essential.
The role offers:
* Generous starting salary of £52,000-£62,000 DOE.
* Hybrid working - Currently 2 days home and 3 office with some flexibility.
* 25 days holiday.
