A leading manufacturer in Barnsley are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team on a contract basis.
This will be an opportunity to work within a forward thinking and fast paced environment, supporting a subsidiary within a larger group function
The Role
-Reporting directly in to the FC, you will be responsible for the full preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
-Responsible for carrying out reconciliations across the balance sheet & P&L, ensuring that all accounting entries are in line with UK GAAP and commercially appropriate
-Assist in the completion of the annual audit process, dealing with auditor requests and queries
-To contribute to the continuous improvement of Finance and Accounting policies
Experience required
-Qualified ACCA/CIMA
-Manufacturing experience
-Stock/inventory experience
-Experience with SOX would be advantageous
