Our client based in Rotherham is a very well-established charitable organisation, The business is looking to recruit an interim Qualified / Part qualified / Qualified by experience Management Accountant to support them through a period of change.

This could be a full or part time (4 days) role and is expected to last for an initial 3 - 6 month term. This role will support a small team and work with stakeholders across the wider business in terms of project support.

Key responsibilities will include:
*Assist in the production of monthly profit and loss reports and cash flow projections for the business and assisting managers with the financial interpretation of monthly variances of actuals v budgets and forecasts,
*Prepare accounting information of accruals, prepayments and commitments
*Assist the Management Accountant with any ad hoc requests in the production of the monthly management accounts by cost centres in respect of achieving and maintain accounting standards.
*Tracking and monitoring financial transactions.
*Reviewing financial records, documents and information to ensure their accuracy
*Performing account reconciliations and audit.
*Assist in credit control procedures.
*Compiling financial spreadsheets, reports, statements and other documents as needed for cost centre managers
*Assisting managers with the overall accounting and taking ownership of the financial systems required for this.
*Assist with the preparation of business cases for approval.
*Assist with the salaries and expenses preparation to be able to substitute when necessary
*Help to educate and encourage all staff to take more responsibility over the financial aspects of the budget that they are doing and the overhead costs they are incurring.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
*Good communication skills both written and verbal
*Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
*Good systems experience
*Financial and management accounting experience
