Sharp Consultancy are excited to be working alongside a successful and ever-developing Barnsley based manufacturing business. They are looking to fill a Head of Finance position, to join them on a 6-month interim basis. With progression plans being implemented, they are searching for the right candidate to put these plans into practice and help develop the business to an even greater level.
This position involves the efficient running of day-to-day finance operations, sufficient reports being prepared, annual planning and forecasting, important and quick decision-making, as well as the management of a team!
This role includes:
-Running day-to-day finance operations.
-Preparing monthly reports.
-Management of the finance team.
-Quarterly and yearly stock takes.
-Weekly cashflows.
-Annual audit processes.
-Balance sheet reconciliations.
-Forecasting and planning.
-Budget reviews.
-Ruling out financial risks.
Skills and experience:
-ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified.
-Experience of working in the manufacturing sector.
-Experience of managing a team.
-Experience of reporting, planning and budgeting.
-Knowledge of using Excel and a range of ERP systems.
