A leading manufacturing business in York is seeking a talented Finance Manager for an initial 9-month contract.
The main objective of the role is to support one of the divisional heads by providing accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management.
Other tasks will involve analysing and interpreting accounts, working with the project delivery teams to control costs and margins and reviewing cashflow projections on a daily basis.
To be considering for this role you will ideally be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) however, people with a very strong financial background who are qualified by experience may also be considered. You must have advanced Excel skills and be comfortable handling complex spreadsheets. Clear communication skills and a can-do attitude are also essential.
