Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a market leading business in Chesterfield who have had considerable investment within the organisation, and as such are now looking for an experienced Financial Controller who can join as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
The Senior Leadership Team are keen to develop and grow the company, as ideally the new Financial Controller will be able to bring a fresh pair of eyes to the role and assist in this objective.
Reporting into the owner, this role will be a pivotal role within the organisation in continuing the growth of the business, alongside responsibilities for training and developing the small finance team and improving systems to support this.
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing a small finance team
*Production of monthly management accounts and reporting to the Board on the results and key KPI's
*Managing cash flows to optimise the company's financial position
*Planning & Forecasting
*Responsible for costing and pricing
*Assessing impacts of cost increases and pricing
*Monitor costs and recommend improvements
*Supporting the management team with any information required to improve the profitability of the business
*Produce information to assess any new projects or proposals and present the information to management
*Produce information for KPI's
*Liaise with other departments to streamline the operations of the business
Skills and Knowledge:
*Attention to detail
*Confident on systems/Excel
*Self-starter, can work independently and part of wider team
*Keen to develop and progress
