Our client are a very well established manufacturing organisation based in Rotherham, They have an immediate opportunity for a Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent Financial Accountant with IDRS knowledge to join them for a 15 month contract to cover maternity leave.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
*Line responsibility for a small team to oversee the accurate completion of month end reconciliations and intergroup processes
*Preparation of Statutory financial statements under IFRS
*Support on CAPEX proposals
*Monthly stores reporting
*Preparation of quarterly and annual tax information
*Preparation and review of annual transfer pricing documentation
*Continual process review
*Ad hoc duties as required
This role requires an individual who can work well on their own initiative, with strong people and communication skills as well as strong technical accounting knowledge. You will also demonstrate a flexible and pro active approach.
