Sharp Consultancy are proudly working with a large and highly successful business in Rotherham who are looking to on-board a new Finance Business Partner to their Finance team.

Due to continued growth and significant investment into the business there is a need for an experienced and confident Finance Business Partner to join the organisation, working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in driving business performance.

This position will be working closely with the finance team, operational teams and wider business, assisting on value-add business partnering to providing financial analysis, insight, forecasting and reporting across the organisation. This will play a key role in the business working closely and supporting Senior Management and their teams as well as supporting the crucial link between finance and the operations.

This role will suit a driven Qualified / Qualified by Experience individual who is looking to progress their career in a Commercial/added value role providing financial business partnering and ensure that all reporting, budgeting and forecasting is completed.

Responsibilities include:
* Assisting the Commercial team with the wider management team to provide financial support, information, and insight
* Highlight adverse variances to senior management and recommend actions
* Support on the production of strategic plans, annual budgets, and reforecasting
* Preparation of forward looking monthly management information and variance analysis relating to spend, profit excluding value gains, acquisitions and disposals
* Measurement and reconciliation of various KPI's
* Supporting the bi-annual valuations, including cost plan variance analysis, accruals
* Preparation and tracking of information that helps to forecast year end valuation movements
* Help to develop models that assist the business in commercial decision making
* Various ad hoc/ project work and analysis

Person specification
* Previous business partnering role providing financial support to non-finance functions
* Previous experience in a management accounting finance role
* Demonstrate being a team player working alongside other functions
* Working to tight deadlines
* Excellent use of communication skills, both written and verbal
* Good system skills - specifically Excel
