Finance Business Partner

Job description

 We’re partnering with a global business services firm to recruit a Finance Business Partner based in Leeds. This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior operational leaders to influence strategy, drive performance, and support the firm’s continued growth.

As Finance Business Partner you’ll be a trusted adviser to senior leadership—translating financial insight into commercial action. You’ll lead on reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, ensuring decisions are backed by robust data and clear analysis.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operational leaders, providing insight, challenge, and strategic guidance to support decision-making.

  • Head the preparation, analysis, and presentation of monthly results, forecasts, and budgets.

  • Manage the month-end close, producing accurate and meaningful commentary.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality reporting packs for senior stakeholders.

  • Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, including board-level presentations.

  • Identify and deliver process improvements, leveraging automation to enhance reporting.

  • Contribute to strategic projects with detailed financial analysis and recommendations.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid commercial finance and management reporting experience

  • Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders and simplifying complex financial information

  • Experience in a partnership or international setting is a strong advantage

  • Confident communicator with excellent business partnering skills

  • Detail-focused, hands-on, and committed to continuous improvement
