Our client has grown over a sustained period and is forecasting a significant increase in turnover compared to previous years whilst they continue to expand into other markets.
As a result of the expansion/growth strategy, there is a newly created opportunity for a part qualified/qualified Management Accountant to join a structured and stable business - working closely with an experienced Senior Management Team, alongside offering a clear professional pathway in becoming a Financial Controller whilst being developed and mentored.
The Management Accountant will ensure financial control, develop financial understanding & provide strategic value with decision making as the business undoubtedly continues to grow. The role will suit an ambitious and driven individual who wants to join a dynamic finance team, in a position that will continually grow and evolve.
Duties:
*Responsibility at month-end (posting monthly journals, balance sheet reconciliations)
*Assisting in corporation tax returns (tax working papers, working with tax advisors)
*Assisting in VAT (producing group VAT returns)
*Cash flow management (producing daily, weekly, monthly cash flow files)
*Assisting in the annual audit
*Producing departmental P&Ls
*Working with managers across the business on cost development
*Any other Adhoc requirements (project work, system testing etc)
