Our Leeds based client is a rapidly expanding, international business with an outstanding reputation and a recognised brand.
They are currently looking to recruit a Head of Group External Reporting who will primarily be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all the Group's external financial reporting, investor relations and balance sheet strategy.
The role will be involved in a wide range of finance and accounting services for the group from the annual statutory accounts, development of monthly reports, M&A activity and systems. Head up a growing team this role will provide that perfect balance of leadership and being hands on.
The successful candidate, therefore, will need to be a fully ACA qualified Accountant with an exceptional track record to date in their finance career. You will need to possess a blend of technical competency and commercial finance with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
You will need to be comfortable preparing and presenting reports and information at board level, being well presented and articulate. You will have excellent technical and statutory accounting experience and most likely qualified with one of the leading Chartered Accountancy practices.
Experience within the financial services sector and using IFRS 9 would be very advantageous but is not essential. Experience of financial instruments is likely to be essential.
Our client operates a hybrid working model with on average 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
