Reporting Accountant

Job description

 An exciting opportunity for an ACCA/ACA/CIMA Finalist or Qualified Accountant to join a growing company within the transport industry as a Reporting Accountant.

You will be working in a team and reporting directly to the Group Reporting Manager.

As a Reporting Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Management and Statutory accounts. You will take ownership of the Management Accounts Production, Balance Sheets Reconciliation and Budgeting.
  • Compliance where you will be responsible for group internal and external audit as well as managing the VAT reporting requirements.
  • Cash Management where you will be managing the day-to-day cash operations of the company.
  • Controls and Improvements where you will work with the Head of Group Reporting in making operational improvements to transactional processes, controls, systems and technology to ensure that the finance function works as efficiently and effectively as possible.

As you grow as a Reporting Accountant you will gain experience working across all aspects of the accounting process and have potential opportunities to grow within in the business. You will gain exposure working in a company that has multiple entities across the UK and international exposure.

Ideally you will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with experience within Audit/Management Accounts/Assistant Accounts/Financial Accounts and a strong technical knowledge. You will also be ready to ‘Challenge the norm’ with a focus on process improvement.
