Reporting Directly into the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for:
*Producing monthly financial reports including profit and loss accounts as well as cash flow forecasts and budget report analysis.
*Assist with the audit procedures within the group ensuring that they meet regulatory standards and suggesting ways of improving processes, however this would be largely in an advisory capacity
*Lead the preparation of Statutory Accounts for all UK entities and liaise with auditors to ensure completion in line with deadlines
*Preparing reports, commentaries, financial statements, and budgets to present accounts to senior board level
*Assisting preparation of the group management account pack, including analysis and commentary.
*Mentoring and supporting junior finance staff that will report to you.
*Liaising with senior board members and managerial staff; ensuring finance processes are running smoothly
*Ensure compliance across the business balance sheet and general ledgers to month end and year end obligations.
*Managing and developing financial systems and policies.
*Leading major finance projects, whilst liaising with both the Finance Controller and the Finance Director, to ensure an appropriate and consistent approach to new and existing financial standards are met.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
*ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with previous experience within an accountancy practice.
*Exposure to or knowledge of fast paced sectors such as manufacturing, retail, food, and engineering.
*Keen to develop your career towards Financial Controller/Head of Finance.
*Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
