Growing private equity backed retail business in Leeds currently require an experienced Finance Manager to join their finance department, in a key role, at a very exciting time for the company. With new funding in place and ambitious growth plans this newly created role will oversee the finance function reporting directly into the Financial Controller.
You will be responsible for the full production of the monthly management accounts, collating information from your team, as well as liaising with senior stake holders within the business providing detailed commentary and analysis for the monthly board report. You will take ownership of the monthly P&L ensuring the business remains within their ambitious growth forecasts. Due to the ownership structure, you will also have direct access to the PE house attending quarterly meetings with the Financial Controller to discuss current positions and quarterly predictions.
Ideally you will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified and be able to demonstrate experience within a senior management accountant/financial accountant position. Previous exposure at management level would be advantageous but not essential providing you can demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.
