An established and fast-growing FMCG business based in Rotherham is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation.

 

Operating in a high-volume, fast-paced consumer environment, the business continues to invest in people, processes, and systems to support its ambitious growth plans. This role offers a rare opportunity to combine hands-on financial leadership with genuine commercial influence, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and year-end statutory accounts

  • Partner closely with operational and commercial teams to provide insightful financial analysis and decision support

  • Drive cost control, margin improvement, and profitability across the FMCG supply chain

  • Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and balance sheet integrity

  • Manage and develop a small finance team, ensuring strong controls and continuous improvement

  • Act as a key point of contact for auditors, banks, and external advisors

  • Support strategic projects, including investment appraisals, process improvements, and system enhancements

 

About You:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

  • Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, or a fast-paced consumer environment

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insight

  • Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable influencing at senior level

  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-moving business
