We are delighted to announce we are working on one of South Yorkshire's hottest new Finance Manager roles at a successful Sheffield-based manufacturer. The business, a manufacturing SME, are at a pivotal point of growth and are looking for a talented Finance Manager to join their team, working closely with the Managing Director and Group Finance Director.

This is a newly created role that has been designed to operate on a stand-alone basis, allowing full autonomy over a complete finance function whilst collaborating with the wider management team.

Having a predominant focus on raw material and production costs, this role is an exciting opportunity for a candidate from a manufacturing background looking to take on a varied role in a growing business.

Duties and responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of CAPEX investment appraisals
* Develop and implement financial processes and controls
* Conduct variance analysis against budgets and cost-reduction initiatives
* Collaborate on cost-driven improvement projects
* Implement costing methods and validate the cost of manufacturing processes
* Liaise with operations to audit inventory and WIP
* Continual development of existing ERP system
* Implementation of new financial reporting software
* Implement and develop FP&A software incorporating forecasting and scenario planning
* Review of post-capex investment implementation
* Monitor the cashflow of working capital
* Conduct financial scenario planning and modelling
* Oversee the monthly rolling forecasting and annual budgeting processes
* Maintain key relationships with suppliers and customers
* Prepare commercial bids
* Submitting UK Grant applications and claims

Person Specification:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA or Qualified by Experience
* Previous experience of working within a manufacturing setting
* Previous experience of standard costing (desirable)
