Finance Manager

​We’re proud to be partnering with a professional services firm based in Leeds. Following a period of sustained growth, the organisation is seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to support its Group Finance function. This role will lead a small team with responsibility for group reporting, delivery of month-end and year-end results, maintaining balance sheet integrity, and overseeing the audit process.

Key responsibilities as Finance Manager will include;

  • Report directly to the Financial Controller, with a dotted reporting line to the CFO

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Qualified and Part Qualified accountants

  • Oversee the preparation and coordination of monthly management accounts

  • Provide support and guidance to international finance teams on monthly reporting and year-end financial submissions

  • Review and challenge balance sheet reconciliations across the Group to ensure accuracy and financial integrity

  • Maintain and enhance robust accounting controls and governance frameworks

  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within financial operations

  • Support the UK external audit process, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requirements

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)

  • Solid background in financial accounting, preferably within the Professional Services sector or similar

  • Prior experience in a Finance Manager role is highly advantageous

  • Strong technical accounting expertise and knowledge of UK and International accounting standards

  • Ability to build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders across complex entities, systems, and international jurisdictions

  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with a proven track record in managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
