Sharp Consultancy are acting as the exclusive partner for a highly reputable client within the Chesterfield region who are in need of an FD to join the business within a newly created role to lead the business as it embarks on the next stage of its business growth and development.
Our client is a sub £20m T/O business who has successfully grown from a specialist bespoke manufacturer into an instantly recognisable market leader.
Due to recent investment and a strong cash position through year on year increases, the MD has been able to establish a more dynamic growth strategy and will be looking to grow the business significantly over the next 3-5 years.
The business has a range of key clients and is a manufacturing solution specialist providing products and support to significant multi-national clients and their customers.
* You will report directly into the MD on a daily basis but must be available at all times for senior level reviews and analysis.
* You must have the ability to provide finance leadership with significant responsibility for performance and leadership of a growing SME
* You will also manage a small team which includes qualified and non-qualified accountants as well as transactional support.
All applicants must be qualified, and it is essential you can show a strong level of commercial leadership with clear understanding of MI and business improvements via strong finance processes.
Any previous experience of manufacturing or operational exposure in business would be highly advantageous but not necessarily essential.
You must possess strong management and coaching skills, be an excellent communicator and lead with the required gravitas to drive the business at all levels.
