Exceptional business, growing year on year operating in the Manufacturing industry based in York currently require an ambitious, studying/part qualified CIMA/ACCA/AAT finance business partner to join their finance team.

Reporting directly to the Finance Controller:

*Build relationships between Finance and Manufacturing particularly with Factory Manager and relevant cost area leaders as required to effectively support Manufacturing Operations cost control and continuous improvement.
*Produce detailed analysis and reporting to support Factory, including relevant weekly reporting of KPI's. Examples will include: labour productivity/planning, capacity utilisation, key operational KPIs, material wastage analysis, stock take controls.
*Lead factory project financial analysis on operational performance to align with opportunities and project tracking for savings delivery against objectives.
*As a Finance Business Partner, you will be required to confirm and support costings as requested for your Factories.
*Work as part of the Operations Finance team to stay compliant with the financial controls and reporting timetables in line with business requirements.
*Ensure that the completion of month end are meeting deadlines.
*Provide commentary as needed to explain performance/variances for your areas
*Assist in the production of regulatory reports.
*Support the delivery of accurate and timely elements of analysis and reporting.
*Ensure that all delegated balance sheet reconciliations are carried out on a regular basis and that all postings are authenticated
*Produce and validate monthly analysis of specific categories of income, cost or balance sheet items, for presentation to senior management and external auditors, including Notes on the Accounts.

Candidate requirements:

*Ideally, you will hold a chartered qualification; (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
*Have excellent communication skills
*Strong career achievements in an operational or commercial finance position
*Ability to use excel to a good level

Ideally you will qualified to CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification with previous experience within an accountancy-based role and be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop new and existing skills.
