Sharp Consultancy is currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner within a large highly recognised services leader based in the Sheffield area.
Working with the commercial function you will report to the Financial Controller & will be an integral part of the business providing commercial & financial support to assist with driving the business forward and optimising the financial performance.
In particular, you will:
*Timely management accounts across several sites
*Be responsible for closely supporting the non-finance teams with all finance matters.
*Challenge & influence the teams you support to deliver their budgets and create innovative solutions to reduce central costs where appropriate.
*Fully support the Business Development and funding teams in the bid processes through understanding the contractual obligations, commercial modelling and performance targets advising on the robustness and achievability of bids.
*Be proactive in supporting the teams you support, ensuring they understand their numbers and have the knowledge and support to achieve them.
*Raise potential risks, issues, and opportunities in a timely manner
You will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant already working within a decision-making capacity looking for an opportunity to progress within an employer of choice within the next 12-18 months.
