Finance Assistant

Role Overview:
Position: Finance Assistant
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: S73, Wath Road near Wombwell (Easily accessible!)
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Benefits: 25 days annual leave, bank holidays, extra holiday for your birthday, Westfield Health Scheme, 4% employer pension contribution, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Purchase Ledger Management:
- Process invoices, ensuring accurate coding and matching.
- Obtain authorisation for payments.
- Handle supplier queries promptly and professionally.
- Manage payments in multiple currencies.

2. Daily Financial Operations:
- Perform daily banking and reconciliation tasks.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Maintain the general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end processes.

3. Additional Duties:
- Check and process expenses.
- Collaborate on various finance-related tasks across the group.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM
- Friday: Early finish at 04:00 PM
