Working closely with the Finance Director and Head of Operations your role will initially include:
*Preparing and presenting accounts to senior board level as well as the PE house.
*Liaising closely with the Finance Director to implement, change and drive new procedures to ensure a "best in class" accounts function.
*Oversee the monthly management accounts production ensuring senior stake holders are aware of current positions highlighting any analytical trends both positive and negative.
*First point of contact for external communications with both banking facilities and external audit partners.
*Review and improve reporting obligations both internal and external.
*Ensure compliance across the business balance sheet and general ledgers to month end and year end obligations.
*Further additional responsibility will be added aiming to recruit your successor as you develop over the next 12-18 months.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
*ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with previous experience within an accountancy practice
*Exposure to or knowledge of fast paced sectors such as manufacturing, retail, food, and engineering.
*Keen to develop your career towards Financial Controller/Head of Finance.
*Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
