The main duties of this role include:
*Building and maintaining relationships with customers
*Reviewing the company ledger, to look for overdue accounts
*Chasing overdue debt, via telephone and email
*Dealing with and resolving any queries in relation overdue invoices
*Negotiating payment terms or repayment plans
*Performing credit checks on customer accounts, advising on the appropriate credit limits if necessary
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
*Knowledge of accounts recievable and credit control processes
*Good IT knowledge, particularly of accountancy software and Microsoft Excel
*The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
*Good at query resolution
