Credit Controller

Job description

 Sharp Consultancy are supporting a rapidly expanding business in East Leeds to recruit an experienced Credit Controller on a temporary basis, the role may become permanent in the future.

This role has arisen due to the high volume of work and the natural growth of the business.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage all aspects of credit control.

  • Take ownership of your own ledger.

  • Handle customer payments and chase outstanding debt.

  • Set up payment terms and check customer credit limits.

  • Process payments and update Sage 200.

  • Respond to payment-related calls and queries.

  • Work closely with the Sales office and other departments.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous credit control experience is ESSENTIAL (applications without this will not be considered).

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Sage 200.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on your own initiative.

  • A team player who can multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • General accounts experience and strong numerical skills.

  • Outstanding communication skills.
