Sharp Consultancy are pleased to be partnered with a well-established, leading specialist in the Manufacturing sector, based in South Doncaster, but operating on a national scale. Our client is looking to expand their Doncaster finance team with the addition of a driven candidate who has previous experience of working in Credit Control, or a similar role.
The main duties of this role include:
*Building and maintaining relationships with customers
*Chasing debts, and responding to and resolving queries via email or telephone
*Reviewing the company ledger, to look for overdue accounts
*Performing credit checks on customer accounts, advising on the appropriate credit limits
*Negotiating payment plans with customers, and arranging terms and conditions
*If necessary, and payments are not received, starting up the process of legal proceedings
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
*Understanding of the credit control function, including debt recovery
*God knowledge of IT system - particularly Excel spreadsheets
*Excellent communication skills
*Good at query resolution
