Sharp consultancy is elated to announce this fantastic opportunity with a highly established company based on the Border of Sheffield. This business has manufacturing and sales facilities in in 45 locations across the UK and overseas. The Business has a renowned reputation for being the leading manufacturer of Solid Fuels with a World Class Distribution Network. This is a full time, permanent position which would suit someone who has previous experience within a Credit Control setting.

The main duties of the role include:
*Managing a portfolio of company accounts and customer types
*Managing and resolving queries in a timely manner
*Making sure Payment plans/agreements are upheld.
*Establish and maintain a professional and friendly relationship with customers

Skills Required:

*Full understanding of the credit control function, including standard practices of debt recovery.
*working knowledge of ICT with a good understanding of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
*Full working knowledge of Double Entry Bookkeeping with proven experience of generation and posting credit notes, debit notes and journals.
*Excellent administration skills with an organised and structured approach.
*Good all round communication skills on all levels internal and external to the organisations.
*Good telephone manner
*Ability to work pro-actively
*customer service experience
*Ability to use own initiative in identifying, addressing, and resolving day to day issues and challenges.
*Strong, positive attitude and work ethic
*Team player
*Knowledge of the legal system recovery system (would be an advantage but not essential)

*Monday -Friday
*9AM-5PM (30 Minute lunch)/8:30AM-5PM (1 hour lunch)
