Commercial Finance Analyst in Wakefield

Rapidly growing global business in the marketing industry are currently recruiting for a commercially minded CIMA/ACCA qualified Accountant or passed finalist Accountant to join their growing Commercial team in a newly created position. Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager you will be a key point of contact for a number of internal and external stakeholders where you will assist with a variety of commercial decisions that will play a key role in the business's ambitious growth plans over the coming years.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
*Business Partner to the Commercial teams to support the delivery of financial targets.
*Responsible for implementing and monitoring robust financial controls for new suppliers.
*Providing regular reporting on financial performance and business KPIs.
*Proactively identifying and highlighting opportunities to improve business performance.
*Managing periodic planning and forecasting processes.
*Support the continued development of our reporting suite; providing guidance and support to the business users and proactively identifying opportunities to improve clarity and understanding.
*Ad hoc project work and reporting.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
*Degree educated with a relevant professional accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent).
*Have excellent communication skills and experience with dealing with non-financial stakeholders.
*Previous experience in finance business partnering or in a commercial role
*Strong command of Excel and experience with relevant financial systems, including ERP and reporting platforms.
*Good understanding of general accounting processes.
*Advanced Excel skills with the ability to use pivot tables and VLOOKUPS..
