Known for its strong regional presence and people-first culture, this firm is seeking an ambitious Audit Assistant Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This newly created role reflects the firm’s continued growth and offers a fantastic opportunity for experienced Audit Seniors or Audit & Accounts Seniors who are ready to step into a leadership position and focus exclusively on audit.

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing and delivering audit assignments from planning through to completion. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong client relationships.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Lead on-site audits, managing resources and timelines to ensure smooth delivery.

  • Prepare and review audit findings reports, highlighting key risks and insights.

  • Mentor and support junior staff, including training and performance assessments.

  • Draft accounts, reports, and completion memos, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Ensure all work aligns with audit procedures and quality standards.

Person Specification:

  • ACA / ACCA Qualified

  • Experience of supporting junior members of staff

  • Strong Accountancy Practice background
