Sharp Consultancy are pleased to be working in partnership with a long-standing and expanding accountancy practice in Leeds, as they seek to appoint an Audit Senior. Established over many years, the firm has built a strong presence across Yorkshire and Derbyshire and is widely regarded as a leading regional practice. Ongoing growth has created the need to add an ambitious and motivated individual to their close-knit team.

 

The role involves visiting clients on site throughout the region and pitching for new business opportunities. There is clear scope for progression into more senior positions for someone who can demonstrate the ability to grow the client base and strengthen the company’s presence across the region.

 

This role is ideal for an enthusiastic ACA/ACCA Qualified candidate with client facing experience and is keen to continue their growth in an award winning and highly reputable practice.

 

The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, proven experience in a client facing role, and the ability to carry out audit fieldwork independently.

 

Duties/responsibilities:

  • Leading audit fieldwork teams.

  • Preparing statutory financial statements.

  • Providing excellent client care.

  • Assisting with billing and oversight of recoveries.

  • Mentoring junior members of the team.

  • Identifying market opportunities to expand business with existing clients but also introducing new clients to the firm.

 

Who you are:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified.

  • Client facing experience.

  • Ability to carry out audit fieldwork independently.

  • Knowledge of FRS 102
