Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with an exciting and growing business in Rotherham in sourcing an ambitious and driven Assistant Management Accountant to join their organisation.

As such, an excellent opportunity has arisen to join the business as an Assistant Management Accountant reporting into the Finance Director at the Head Office in Rotherham - preparing management accounts and assisting in other areas of the business.
To be successful in this role you will ideally be able to work accurately under pressure and adhere to deadlines - ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified, confident on systems & MS Excel and self-motivated.
Furthermore, the role will include:
*Preparation of the monthly management accounts for review
*Assist in the preparation of budgets
*Cashflow forecasting
*Maintenance of fixed asset register
*Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
*Processing of fortnightly payment run
*Monthly reconciliation of petty cash
*Daily transfer of funds between bank accounts
*Preparation and inputting of journals
*Develop new reports to aide management as required
*Produce statistics, ratios and monitor KPIs
*Analyse operational and financial data in order to explain trends and justify expenditure levels
*Support projects
*Other ad-hoc duties as necessary
