Sharp Consultancy are exclusively working with an exciting business based in North Sheffield, who have continued to experience year on year growth. Due to this consistent growth, the business are looking to add a driven and ambitious Part-Qualified Assistant Management Accountant to their established finance team, working closely with the Management Accountant and Senior Management Team ensuring the finance function delivers what is required of it by the Business.
Further responsibilities include;
*Assist with the production of management accounts
*Profit and loss analysis
*Balance sheet analysis
*Accruals and prepayments
*Preparing Weekly and Monthly analysis
*Cash flow forecasts
*Preparing and posting of month end journals for management accounts
*Weekly preparation and reconciliation of the bank accounts
*Monthly preparation and reconciliation of other balance sheet accounts
*Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
Ideally you will have experience of working within small/medium sized finance functions and performing the range of responsibilities outlined alongside high level of computer literacy. Good communication & interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team and supporting colleagues.
You will have the passion, drive and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way. The successful candidate will be driven to be ACCA/CIMA qualified and continually be looking to grow/evolve in this role.
