Growing owner managed niche fabrication business based in Pontefract currently have an exceptional interesting opportunity for a career minded CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Accountant to join their business at the next stage of their exciting growth strategy having recently taken private equity investment.
*Working in a newly created position you will support the Finance Director in a wide ranging and varied role playing a key positon in the growth and development of the business and the finance division. Your initial duties will involve:
*Preparation of the monthly accounts supporting the Financial Controller with board pack presentation and commentary.
*Full involvement with the budgeting and forecasting - highlighting and asking the questions to help drive the business forward.
*Review of divisional overheads and variance analysis.
*Stake holder management across sales, operations, marketing and distribution building strong communication and trust between finance and other areas.
*Manage and mentor a small team eventually driving further development through recruiting additional members of the team.
Ideally you will be:
*CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified having held a similar Management Accountant/Financial Accountant position. OR-
*Be from a practice background with strong technical understanding of audit and financial accounting.
*From a manufacturing, engineering or FMCG background although consideration will be given for anyone who can demonstrate transferable experience from other sectors.
*Driven to develop towards a more senior role as the position offers the opportunity to fast track towards Financial Controller.
*Able to demonstrate previous experience/knowledge of ERP systems such SAP, JD Edwards or Oracle.
