The successful candidate will be responsible for:
*Line management and ownership of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable functions/companies.
*Ensure the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions operate to agreed KPIs.
*Provide and regularly review KPI/objective targets for the functions listed above to ensure the best possible performance of the Transactional Accounts Team
*Lead role on transactional process improvements
*Monthly/weekly reporting on vendor and customer ledgers
*Production of transaction accounts reports, such as compliance and aged debt
*Deliver support to debt collection process with specific client queries
*Provide additional input resource to the function(s) as and when required
*Provide support and training to the operational, sales and commercial side(s) of the business.
*Assistance in the annual audit process
*Ad-hoc project work
*Day to day payment/income sweep
*To support and maintain best practice with regards to GDPR
*To be committed to continuous improvement within the Finance department and reporting
*Support on ad-hoc tasks and reporting.
*To keep up to date with industry initiatives to enable best practice to be adopted at all time.
We are keen to hear from individuals with the following skills and experiences:
*Strong line management experience leading finance teams previously
*Experienced in designing and implementing automated reports/processes
*A proven record of leading/managing staff
*Good organisational skills and can work in a methodical manner
*Time management skills
*Proven track record in all areas of accounts
*Strong communication skills both internally and to external suppliers / clients
