Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a leading business in Sheffield in sourcing an ambitious Trainee Accountant to join their Finance team supporting the Head of Finance and the Group Finance function - undertaking a variety of tasks.
This role will vary dependent on the projects that are underway at any given time. The successful candidate will receive support to study towards (ACCA or CIMA).
Ideally you will have excellent spreadsheet skills alongside good people skills as you will be working with non-Finance staff across the business.
Below is list of the key responsibilities for the role. It is not exhaustive, and the job holder will be expected to undertake any additional tasks or other functions that are reasonable and consistent with the job role.
*Preparing Management Accounts
*Supporting initial purchase ledger duties
*Supporting the implementation of an accounting and management information system
*Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts
*Supporting on projects - following up with workstream leads and key stakeholders, carrying out financial analysis
*Assist in the weekly cash flow forecasting process for the business
*Developing dashboards and information reporting across the business
