Management Accountant

Sharp Consultancy is pleased to be working with a well-established South Yorkshire manufacturing business who, following continued success, are looking to add to their finance team with an ambitious Management Accountant.

 

In this position, you will work closely with the CFO and Financial Controller to support budget preparation, while partnering with department heads to review performance and present key financial information. The role also includes responsibility for producing month-end accounts for multiple group entities.

 

This role is ideal for Part-Qualified candidates who are actively studying and looking for a supportive study environment with the chance to collaborate with key business decision makers. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supporting budget preparation alongside the CFO and Financial Controller

  • Partner with department heads to review performance and explain key metrics

  • Producing month-end accounts for multiple entities

  • Provide cost analysis to inform and support commercial decisions

  • Driving process improvements to increase efficiency across the finance team

  • Supporting year-end audit and preparation of files

  • Assist with the preparation of audit paperwork

Who you are:

  • Fully Qualified AAT

  • Part-Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA

  • Prior experience in an Assistant Management Accountant role

  • Ambitious and proactive personality
