Due to continued growth and significant investment into the business there is a need for a Finance Business Partner to join the organisation, working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in driving business performance.
This position will be working closely with the finance team, operational teams and wider business, assisting on value-add business partnering to providing financial analysis, insight, forecasting and reporting across the organisation.
This role will suit a driven Qualified individual who is looking to progress their career in a Commercial/added value role providing financial business partnering and ensure that all reporting, budgeting and forecasting is completed to a high standard.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing commercial insight and analysis to drive performance
* Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
* Identify and manage risks and opportunities with the Commercial Director and buying team
* Understanding our customer shopping habits and putting them at the heart of commercial decision making
* Support of large projects across the business as we continue to grow
* Effective Business Partnering with internal / external stakeholders in order to ensure that financial targets are achieved
* Assisting the Commercial team with the wider management team to provide financial support, information, and insight
* Support on the production of strategic plans, annual budgets, and reforecasting
* Preparation of forward looking monthly management information and variance analysis relating to spend, profit excluding value gains, acquisitions and disposals
Person specification
* Previous business partnering role providing financial support to non-finance functions
* Demonstrate being a team player working alongside other functions
* Excellent use of communication skills, both written and verbal
