Group Accountant

​A highly respected organisation based in Leeds is looking to strengthen its Group Accounting team with the addition of an ambitious and commercially minded CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Group Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the wider group.

Reporting directly into the Financial Controller your role will include:

  • Leading the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns.

  • Producing accurate and insightful management reporting.

  • Delivering high-quality financial information to support strategic decision-making.

  • Translating complex financial data into clear, meaningful reports for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

  • Contributing to continuous improvements across systems, processes, and reporting.

This is more than just a reporting role — you’ll be at the heart of group-level financial strategy, partnering with teams across the organisation and influencing key business decisions.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate:

  • ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified.

  • Experienced in preparing statutory accounts.

  • Confident communicating complex financial information clearly.

  • Ideally familiar with US GAAP and/or IFRS.

  • Looking to move into industry from practice, or ready for your next step within group finance.
