Sharp Consultancy is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join a well-established Sheffield-based business as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000, along with the flexibility of hybrid working, a generous holiday package of 25 days plus bank holidays, and the convenience of free parking.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk in this business, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the company. Your responsibilities will include processing new supply purchases, reviewing invoices for accuracy and proper formatting, and creating credit accounts with new suppliers. You will also be tasked with creating new supplier accounts and reconciling the supplier statements.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail, to help to identify discrepancies in financial records. Ideally, you will also have experience in a similar role dealing with high volumes of invoices.
