I am recruiting a traditional Purchase ledger Clerk vacancy for a traditional manufacturing company.
What I mean is, this is quite a manual process and a high volume role. Typically they receive 200 invoices per day which are printed, matched, and inputted into their Sage system. You will be resolving unmatched invoices and other queries and reconciling statements to ensure no payments are missed.
It is a Head Office role, for a multi site business with sites in the UK and I, but traditional manufacturing hours are worked ...... so Friday afternoons off!
40 hours with either 07:30 or 08:00 start time, 16:45 or 17:15 finish times Monday through Thursday, then 07:30 or 08:00 Friday but 12:30 or 13:00 close early for the weekend.
This is an office based role due to the manual nature of the process.
It is a permanent role.
Salary is expected to be £25k-£27k depending upon experience and 25 days + statutory holidays are offered as annual leave entitlement.
I am looking for someone who has worked in a high volume, manual process environment. Ideally in a manufacturing or similar industry, the key being high volume and manual processes experience, in line with the nature of the role.
Additionally the successful person role would also be able to cover Sales Ledger, for example to cover annual leave or absence. Just as the sales ledger role will cover the purchase ledger in any absence. So there is some multi skills and variety as required.
