Based in their head office in Ripon, North Yorkshire you will be working within a small team of 2 Payroll Clerks reporting directly to the Payroll Leader and will have responsibility for:
*Weekly and monthly payroll processing.
*Maintaining employee records including sickness and holidays etc.
*Setting up new employees and leavers in Opera and Realtime.
*Ensuring compliance with pension auto-enrolment laws for everyone within the company.
*Liaising with external stakeholders to make sure all information is correct and up to date.
*Being point of contact for employee's questions and queries regarding Payroll.
*Preparing reports that summarise earnings, p45s, tax deductions and any other documents required.
*Any other duties that may be requested from your line manager.

Ideally the candidate will:
*Have experience working with Opera and Realtime.
*Be IT literate specifically be able to demonstrate having proven past experience of using Microsoft Office programmes.
*Excellent communication skills as you will be point of contact for employees and external stakeholders.
*Have a positive can-do attitude towards work.
*Be a team player.
