Sharp Consultancy are pleased to be working alongside an industry leading manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Rotherham. This role is commutable from a range of South Yorkshire locations.

They are looking to expand their payroll function by making an addition of a part-time Payroll Administrator. This role will be working 3 days (24 hours) per week on a schedule of 8:30 - 16:30. The successful candidate will be able to chose which 3 days they work.

We are expecting a salary of up to £25,000 per year (pro-rata for part-time) depending upon relevant experience.

Key responsibilities of this role include, but not exclusive to:
* Processing monthly payroll data for 2 monthly payrolls (both salaried and hourly paid employees).
* Calculations for overtime, absences, holiday pay, deductions and statutory payments.
* Maintenance of the time and attendance system, correcting time records and keeping employee records up to date.
* Maintaining timekeeping data for employee overtime and absences and uploading hourly data to the payroll system.
* Updating records for new starters and leavers, and making the necessary amendments.
* Administration of benefits in kind data (P11D changes).
* Monthly reconciliation of PAYE payments.
* Resolving payroll related queries.
* Ad hoc finance support - across purchase ledger, quotations and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Experience of processing monthly payroll
* Experience of working on relevant payroll software
* Attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
