Office Manager

I am excited to be working exclusively with a technology firm based in Sheffield. This business is part of a group of businesses that operates on a global scale.

My client is in need of a candidate that is able to take on a 12-month fix term contract to cover a member of staff that is going on maternity leave. The role has the potential to extend past the 12 months and might even turn in to a permanent role within the firm.

*Handling of purchase & sales orders and incoming & outgoing payments
*Carrying out of the cash reconciliation and monthly updating of the accounts.
*Preparation of accounts to trial balance, statistics, and other required reports.
*Providing basic product information to customers as well as handling the incoming & outgoing goods.
*Travel assistance to directors and team members.
*Providing monthly and weekly bookings and sales forecasting.
*Support to finance Europe team if needed with tax reporting.
*Qualify leads.

The successful candidate must have knowledge of Sage (Sage 200 preferably) and be comfortable using V Look Up's and Pivot Table's within excel. Examples of this must be shown as small test will be conducted at interview.

Other requirements:
*Experience in office administration
*Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and skills as required.
*Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage many tasks/projects simultaneously.
*Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with customers, suppliers, directors, senior managers and colleagues at all levels.

This is an excellent role that will offer a good deal of autonomy, responsibility and variation and I am looking forward to seeing the person grow within this firm.

Full time- 37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday
24 days holiday + Bank Holidays
£25k - £30k depending on experience.
