Accounts Payable Co-ordinator

​Sharp is proud to be working with a well-established, forward-thinking utilities organisation to help them appoint an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator an 8-month fixed-term contract. You’ll play a key role in keeping the Procure to Pay process running smoothly while supporting internal teams and supplier relationships.

What you’ll be doing as an Accounts Payable Coordinator

  • Managing the end-to-end Procure to Pay process

  • Handling supplier accounts and escalations

  • Processing invoices and preparing reconciliations

  • Running ERP reports (SAP S4, Ariba) and sharing insights

  • Supporting process improvements across the finance function

  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies

Accounts Payable Coordinator - What we’re looking for

  • Solid accounts payable experience and supplier management skills

  • Confident using SAP S4 and Ariba

  • Understanding of purchase orders, creditor payments, expenses, and company cards

  • Strong communication and proactive problem-solving mindset

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)

  • Bonus: AAT qualification, EDI invoicing, or AP/P2P accreditation
