Management Accountant in Wakefield

Wakefield based utilities business are looking to expand their accounts function with a Management Accountant opportunity. You will support the Finance Director with the production of management accounts, month end management and reporting to stakeholders. The role offers great exposure and the chance to work within a growing market.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced management accountant to show case their abilities and take full control of the efficiency and production of month end accounts.

You will be working collectively with the Finance Director and the wider team to achieve the following responsibilities:

* To prepare and present timely monthly management accounts
* Business partner with senior stakeholders, indicating on business performance
* General ledger management
* Provide analysis and commentary based on month end accounts
* Year End audit preparation and assistance
* Improve current systems and processes
* Ad-hoc work

Preferably you will have experience in producing management accounts and either part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or QBE. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to have a real influence on the business and to take full control over the month end.
