Management Accountant

We’re looking for a Management Accountant to work closely with the Finance Director, contributing to the production of timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets. The role will also involve supporting the business with detailed analysis and improved financial visibility to aid strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports

  • Build effective working relationships across finance and operational teams

  • Oversee revenue recognition, prepayments, and accruals

  • Monitor and analyse key cost areas, including operational and contract-related spend

  • Review and correct invoices and cost centre allocations

  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis

  • Deliver ad-hoc reporting and financial insights to support business performance

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

  • Proficient in Excel and experienced with financial systems

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

  • Clear communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to continuous improvement
