The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Management Accountant to work closely with the Finance Director, supporting the delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets. The role will also involve providing ad-hoc analysis and creating reports that improve financial visibility and support decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts

  • Build strong working relationships across finance and operational teams

  • Manage revenue recognition, prepayments, and accruals

  • Track and analyse fleet-related costs

  • Review and correct invoice postings and cost centre allocations

  • Perform contract-specific cost analysis

  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly

  • Support ad-hoc reporting and generate financial insights

What We’re Looking For:

  • A fully qualified or part qualified (1 or 2 exams to complete) accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems

  • A strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach

  • Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive
