Working directly with the Financial Controller and senior management team your duties will include:
*Preparation of month end accounts through to completion.
*Producing Balance sheet reviews monthly/quarterly.
*Ensuring compliance and key controls are adhered to.
*Mentoring/supporting junior finance staff.
*Liaising with senior board members and managerial staff, ensuring finance processes are running smoothly.
*Ensuring efficient and accurate production and reporting of accounts.
*Managing and developing financial systems and policies.
*Controlling and forecasting company income and expenditure.
*Great communication with senior stake holders across sales, marketing and IT; presenting financial information to those none finance areas.
*VAT returns

Ideally you will be a studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA with the ambition to complete your qualification and be able to demonstrate strong career achievements to date within a assistant management accountant/assistant financial accountant position.
