Based on the outskirts of Leeds you will be responsible for producing weekly and monthly management accounts. As well as the production of budgets and ongoing forecasts in the areas of the business you are supporting. You will also be responsible for producing a variety of reports to assist key internal stakeholders with business decisions. Your main responsibilities and duties will include but are not limited to:
*Preparation, review and analysis of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
*Balance sheet reviews Monthly/Quarterly
*VAT Return
*Supporting yearend audit
*Continual review and improvement of procedures and key controls
*Assisting with budget management and control
*To support the financial controller with ad hoc tasks
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the following experience:
*ACCA/CIMA qualified or part qualified Accountant or equivalent by experience
*Advanced Excel skills
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Self-motivated and has the ability to work under own initiative
*Previous experience within a management accountant position within the manufacturing industry (desirable)
